Ohh Deer have created a competition called Tee Party. The brief is to create an illustration, graphic or photograph to wear on a t-shirt.

Creative Boom - Inspiration Section

I follow Creative Boom quite regularly as they supply many useful tips for freelancers. Creative Boom is primarily a online magazine and network community. Plog Magazine

Another little feature on Plog Magazine. I was approached by Kieron Lewis (online editor) at Plog about two weeks ago, who was very interested in featuring my work on there daily blog. I was more than happy to oblige! They showed particular interest in my latest publishment in Boneshaker Magazine so this is what I submitted. Click here to have a read.

Plog is an independent publication designed and curated by students. They are dedicated in showcasing student and graduate art work both on and offline.

They produce a new issue 4 times a year, with stunning content that would often get forgotten about if it were just blogged.

Illustration Rally

I was fortunate enough to be featured on Illustration Rally yesterday by the wonderful Natsuki Otani. Illustration Rally is a place for collaborative projects that helps to promote up-and-coming illustrators with a combination of open submission briefs and artist features. Illustration Rally is built for the illustration community as a place to take pressure-free creative briefs to strengthen portfolios, submit your work for a feature or a place to shout out for events, exhibitions or news. Boneshaker Issue #8

I received my contributers copy of Boneshaker Issue #8 today. The Illustration was used to accompany the article 'The Other Boneshaker: Cycling Centuries And Centuries Of Cycling' in the excellent Bristol-based cycling magazine Boneshaker. If you want to read it, get you hands on a copy here.

Yesterday I received this magnificent screen print through the post, courtesy of Boneshaker Magazine. This deluxe screen print was designed by Boneshaker's very own Creative Director (the one who does all of the design) John Coe, who created this Boneshaker print for the 2011 Artcrank LDN show at Look Mum No Hands. I have been lucky enough to feature some of my work in the up and coming issue 8 of Boneshaker Magazine, which I am thrilled about and can't wait to get my hands on a copy. I've recently been in contact with Helen Butterworth, who is a designer and blogger. She was kind enough to offer to feature some of my illustrations on her inspirational blog. She sees her blog as being a visual diary that she uses to update and respond to influential Graphic Design that she finds interesting, engaging and most of all creative. Finally got round to finishing off this piece today, It's taken me forever but am pleased with the outcome! All coloured in using my new Wacom tablet which was a lot of fun to use! I submitted this illustration to Illustrativo: Illustration blog...you can view it here!
